Holiday Inn Killarney

The full Irish breakfast was quite tasty.

Upon arrival, we were frustrated to find no one at the reception, forcing us to walk to another guesthouse in the rain to check in. The room was in poor condition, with a stained carpet and a broken chair. Despite the great location, the lack of basic amenities and cleanliness left us quite disappointed .

We loved this place - lovely little and reasonably priced hotel.

The location of the hotel was magnificent - at a medium distance from Meeting of the Waters. The staff were fantastic friendly, provided us with a neat room with bath. The food was reasonably priced.

A tasty full Irish breakfast available in the guesthouse down the road. Ideal location with less than a 10-minute walk to town center.

No one manning reception. Had to walk in the rain to another guesthouse for check-in. Room cleanliness was a concern with a stained carpet and an earbud found on the floor. The shower room lacked a toilet seat, and two light fixtures were out. TV malfunctioned, and the bed was uncomfortable, causing back pain.

Clean Comfortable accomodation convieniently situated for an easy ten minute walk into Killarney.

The family room was spacious but required attention, especially with a squeaky bed. Though the lack of air conditioning was felt, the cool weather helped us stay comfortable. The check-in staff was friendly and accommodating. Security concerns arose when a fellow guest mistakenly entered our room during the night, which left us quite unsettled. The hotel's location was convenient, being close to downtown and with available parking.

The staff as reported in previous reviews were extremely friendly and the room was spotlessly clean. it is in easy walking distance of the town centre and also has bars and resturaunts around it

I dont know who wrote the previous reviews friends!!!! But first impressions are not good the nets are drooping at the windows and it looks very run down. on entering it smelled stale and was vey sparsely decorated the room we were in had no windows just a sky light , the bed was rock hard and when you flushed the toilet it took approx 3 mins to refill and was realy noisy. breakfast is served on a sideplate and had been cooked and left until needed the sausage and black pudding were stuck together and the egg like rubber. I apreciate that this room was cheap and did not expect 4 star but I would rate this 1 star at the mostand definately not value for money

The room itself was clean. Breakfast was included. The bed was comfy, the room was hot at first but once the ceiling windows were opened it was nice and comfortable.

This guesthouse was not easy to find, the directions were adequate I almost gave up trying to find. I was on foot from the bus station with a backpack, better directions and a more accurate. no it is not just five minutes from town on foot! Wifi is non existent, why advertise it if it cant be used in your room. Shower dirty and grout black and grungy. Staff not very knowledgeable, and at times are too direct and off putting in theri answers. no desk in room.

The pool was an added bonus, fun for the kids 😊 The staff were helpful, especially the lady named Hong. The breakfast was kind of disappointing.

We enjoyed a nice double room, but the check-in was frustrating with no reception.
